Discover the i-Size car seat Tulip, the safe and comfortable companion for your newborn up to the age of 15 months. This infant car seat is tested in accordance with the latest ECE R129 (i-Size) safety standard and offers optimum support and protection thanks to the innovative side impact protection and a padded 3-point harness system that grows with your child.
The integrated seat reducer provides your newborn with additional support from birth and can be removed as your child grows. The comfort headrest can be adjusted to four different positions and the padding of the seat insert is removable so that you can customise the height and width of the infant car seat to suit your little one.
The ABC Design car seat Tulip was awarded the test rating "GOOD" (2.2) by Stiftung Warentest and ADAC in the 10/2020 issue. The ADAC certifies that the Tulip car seat has a very low risk of injury in the event of a frontal crash and provides safe protection in the event of a side impact.
Our Tulip car seat not only protects your child in the car: the generous sun canopy with UV protection provides pleasant shade on sunny days. Thanks to the slightly rounded underside of the base, the car seat offers a gentle rocking function outside the vehicle - perfect for a cosy short nap!
Installation in the car is very easy. Simply use the 3-point car seat belt. The colour-coded belt guides make it easier to buckle up correctly. If you are often travelling by car, it is worth purchasing an optional Isofix base. You only need to attach the base once in the car. You can then simply click the Tulip car seat in and out of the base. A colour indicator always shows you when it has been correctly installed. This makes attaching the infant car seat much quicker and safer. If you opt for the Root Isofix base, you can turn the infant car seat 90 degrees to the side for easy installation and removal.
With a weight of just 3.95 kg and the option of attaching the seat to the ABC-Design Stroller frame, the Tulip car seat is ideal for travelling. After arriving at your destination, simply switch between car and Stroller without waking your child.
With the Tulip car seat from ABC-Design, your child is safe and comfortable on the go from birth - whether in the car or as a travel system together with your ABC Design Stroller. And as a reboarder, the Tulip car seat offers additional protection, as it is installed in the opposite direction to the direction of travel and thus better absorbs the forces in the event of an accident.
