Additional Coupling for Bicycle Trailer Tour
- Connection accessory for the second bike
- Remains on the bike for quick coupling and uncoupling
- Can be mounted on various axle types
Use your Tour bike trailer flexibly in everyday family life.
You connect the Tour bike trailer to your bike using a coupling. This is an indispensable connecting element that is fitted to the rear axle of your bike. Before setting off, attach the drawbar and secure it. As the connecting element remains on the bike, your tour can be quickly coupled and uncoupled at any time once the coupling has been fitted. A coupling is already included with your Tour. However, if you use more than one bike in everyday family life, the second coupling is ideal as an accessory. This allows you to equip both wheels with their own coupling and use them flexibly with your Tour. This means you are spontaneous and bike-independent when travelling with your Tour. You can take one wheel to the playground or to the shops and the other wheel pulls the trailer on a weekend bike tour.
Important to know: There are three different axle systems for bicycles. Solid axle, quick-release axle and thru axle. Depending on the axle system and frame shape, an additional adapter or spacer may be required. This should be clear from the operating instructions for your bike. In most cases, helpful information on fitting a bicycle trailer to the respective model can also be found there.
