We are delighted that you are interested in our company and our products and want you to feel secure about the protection of your personal data. Below, we provide you with detailed information about how we handle your personal data. Personal data includes all data that can be related to you personally, e.g. name, address, email addresses, user behaviour.

Information on the collection of personal data

The controller pursuant to Article 4(7) of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is ABC Design GmbH, Dr.-Rudolf-Eberle-Str. 29, 79774 Albbruck (see our Imprint). You can contact our data protection officer at the above address or at datenschutz@abc-design.de.

When you contact us by email or using our contact form, we store the data you provide (your email address, your last name and any other information you provide voluntarily) in order to respond to your enquiry. We delete the data collected in this context once it no longer needs to be stored, or we restrict the processing of it if we are legally required to store it.

  • Right of access,
  • Right to rectification or erasure,
  • Right to restriction of processing,
  • Right to object to processing,

Data processing when using the web shop

If you wish to place an order in our web shop, you must provide us with the personal data that we require for the purpose of processing your order in order to conclude the contract. Mandatory information required for the performance of the contracts is marked separately; any further information is provided on a voluntary basis. For payment, you can provide your payment details to our payment service providers or we can pass on your payment details to our house bank, whereby these third parties are each independently responsible for the payment processing. The legal basis for this is Art. 6 (1) point b GDPR.

If you decide to use the payment processing service provided by Mollie B.V., Keizersgracht 313, 1016 EE Amsterdam/NDL, we will pass on the information you provided during the ordering process (name, address, IBAN, BIC, invoice amount, currency and transaction number) to them for the purpose of executing the contract. Your data will only be passed on for the purpose of processing the payment with the payment service provider and only to the extent necessary. Further information on data protection can be found at https://www.mollie.com/de/privacy.

If you wish, you can create a customer account that allows us to store your data for future purchases. When you create an account, the data you provide is stored revocably. You can always delete all other data, including your user account, in the customer area.

Your data will be stored for as long as your registration is valid. This is without prejudice to any statutory retention requirements, for example under commercial or tax law.

Insofar as we use external service providers to process personal data, these service providers have been carefully selected, commissioned in writing and are bound by our instructions. The service providers will not pass this data on to third parties, but will delete it after the contract has been fulfilled and the statutory storage periods have expired, unless consent has been given for storage beyond that period.

Newsletter

With your consent, you have the option to subscribe to our newsletter, in which we will inform you about the expansion of our product range. We use the so-called double opt-in procedure for newsletter registration. After registration, you will receive an e-mail to the e-mail address you provided, in which we ask you to confirm your newsletter registration. If no confirmation is received, the data you provided for this purpose will be blocked and automatically deleted. We also store the IP address you used for registration, as well as the date and time of your registration and confirmation. The purpose of this storage is to provide evidence of your registration and to clarify any possible misuse of your personal data.

The only mandatory information for a newsletter subscription is your e-mail address. After your confirmation, we store your e-mail address for sending you the newsletter. The legal basis for this is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a DSGVO. You can revoke your consent to subscribe to the newsletter at any time.

Cookies

We use cookies on our website. Cookies are small text files that are assigned to and stored on your hard drive by the browser you are using through a characteristic string of characters and through which certain information flows to the location that sets the cookie. Cookies cannot execute any programmes or transmit any viruses to your computer and therefore cannot cause any damage. They serve to make the internet offering more user-friendly and effective overall, and thus more convenient for you.

Cookies may contain data that makes it possible to recognise the device used. However, some cookies only contain information about certain settings that cannot be linked to a particular person. However, cookies cannot directly identify a user.

A distinction is made between session cookies, which are deleted as soon as you close your browser, and permanent cookies, which are stored beyond the individual session. Among other things, we set cookies that are essential to navigate the website, use basic functions and ensure the security of the website; this is in our legitimate interest (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f DSGVO). These cookies do not collect information about you for marketing purposes, nor do they store information about which websites you have visited.

We also use tools to improve the user experience and to offer you more functions and display interest-based advertising. Although these are not absolutely necessary for the basic functionality of the website, they can offer you, the user, a number of advantages, particularly in terms of user-friendliness and the provision of additional communication, display or payment channels.

The legal basis for these tools is your consent in accordance with Art. 6 (1) point a GDPR, § 25 (1) TDDDG, which you can grant, revoke and manage via our cookie management system. There you will also find further information about the individual cookies and tools used. We use CookieBot for this purpose.

According to Art. 7 para. 1 GDPR, it is necessary that we can prove your consent to the processing of your personal data. CookieBot helps us to do just that, because on the one hand it informs you about cookies that we use on our website and, on the other hand, we can manage and document any necessary consents. The legal basis for the administration of the data is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. c GDPR.

Use of Google Analytics

Our website uses the web analysis service Google Analytics, which is offered for users from Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA) by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland and for all other users by Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA (collectively ‘Google’).

Google Analytics uses cookies and similar technologies to analyse our website based on your user behaviour and to enable us to improve it. Google processes the data in order to compile reports on website activity for website operators and to provide other services relating to website and internet usage. Your IP address will be anonymised before further processing, so that no conclusions can be drawn about your identity.

The legality of the transfer to our service provider in a third country is ensured by the conclusion of the standard contractual clauses of the EU Commission in accordance with Art. 46 GDPR in conjunction with a concluded order processing contract in accordance with Art. 28 GDPR. In addition, you give your consent in accordance with Art. 49 (1) a GDPR in the context of our consent management tool.

Use of Google Tag Manager

Google Tag Manager allows marketers to manage website tags through a single interface. However, the Tag Manager itself, which deploys the tags, works without cookies and does not collect any personal data. The Tag Manager only triggers other tags, which in turn may collect data under certain circumstances. Explanations of the respective third-party providers can be found in this privacy policy. However, the Google Tag Manager does not use this data. If you have disabled cookies or otherwise done so, this will be observed for all tracking tags used with the Google Tag Manager; the tool will therefore not change your cookie settings. Further information on how Google Tag Manager works can be found here: https://support.google.com/tagmanager/answer/2772432?hl=de &topic=2574304&ctx=topic and in the usage guidelines: https://www.google.com/analytics/terms/tag-manager/.

Google Ads

We use ‘Google Ads’, a Google advertising service, on our website, which enables us to draw attention to our offer using external advertising media on external websites and to determine the success of individual advertising measures. For this purpose, cookies and pixel tags are set, which process the following parameters: IP address, browser information, usage data, date and time of visit, location information, cookie ID. The legal basis for this is your consent, which you can revoke at any time.

The data will be deleted as soon as it is no longer needed for processing. The log data is usually anonymised after nine months and the cookie information is anonymised after 18 months.

Further information from Google on data processing can be found at https://policies.google.com/privacy?hl=de, on how to object at https://safety.google/privacy/privacy-controls/ and Google's cookie policy at https://policies.google.com/technologies/cookies?hl=de.

Integration of Google Maps

This site uses the mapping service Google Maps. To use the Google Maps features, it is necessary to store your IP address. This information is usually transmitted to and stored by Google on servers in the United States.

We use Google Maps to present our online content in an appealing manner and to make the locations disclosed on our website easy to find. This constitutes a legitimate interest as defined in Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR.

You can find more information about how user data is handled in Google's privacy policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy?hl=de&gl=de.

Meta Ads

We use the Meta Pixel, a service provided by Meta Inc., 1601 S California Ave, Palo Alto, California 94304, USA (‘Meta’). Meta Pixel enables Meta to display our ads, so-called ‘Meta-Ads’, only to those users who have visited our website, in particular if they have shown interest in our online offer. Meta Pixel also makes it possible to check whether a user has been redirected to our website after clicking on our meta ads. The actions of users are stored in cookies on your device. These cookies enable Meta to match your user data with the data in your Meta account. The collected data is anonymous to us and cannot be viewed. It can only be used in the context of ad placements. If you have a user account with Meta and are registered, Meta can assign the visit to your user account.

We use Meta Pixel for marketing and optimisation purposes, in particular to display ads that are relevant and interesting to you, thus improving our offering and making it more interesting to users.

The use of the meta pixel is based on your consent (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a DSGVO, § 25 para. 1 TDDDG). Further information can be found at https://www.facebook.com/policy.php.

TikTok Pixel

We use the TikTok Pixel from TikTok Technology Limited, 10 Earlsfort Terrace, Dublin, D02 T380, Ireland, and TikTok Information Technologies UK Limited, WeWork, 125 Kingsway, London, WC2B 6NH, United Kingdom.

The TikTok pixel enables us to understand and track the activities of visitors to our website. To do this, the TikTok pixel collects and processes information about the visitors to our website or the devices they use.

The data collected via the TikTok pixel is used to target our ads and to improve ad delivery and personalised advertising, and is transmitted to TikTok for this purpose.

The legal basis for the collection and transmission of personal data is Art. 6 (1) point a GDPR, § 25 (1) TDDDG. You can revoke your consent at any time via our consent management tool.

Further information on data processing can be found at: https://ads.tiktok.com/i18n/official/article?aid=3008 71706948451871 and https://www.tiktok.com/legal/privacy-policy?lang=de-DE.

Data security

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data in order to ensure an adequate level of protection and to safeguard the personal rights of the data subjects. The measures taken serve, among other things, to prevent unauthorised access to the technical facilities we use and to protect personal data from unauthorised access by third parties. In particular, this website uses SSL or TLS encryption for security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content, such as the contact requests you send to us as the site operator. You can recognise an encrypted connection by the fact that the address line of the browser changes from ‘http://’ to ‘https://’ and by the lock symbol in your browser line. If SSL or TLS encryption is activated, the data you transmit to us cannot be read by third parties. Nevertheless, we would like to point out that data transmission over the internet (e.g. when communicating by email) can have security gaps. It is therefore not possible to provide complete protection of data against access by third parties.

Updating the data protection notice

As a result of legal changes or new functions within the scope of our offer, this data protection notice may change from time to time. We therefore recommend that you regularly access it.
